1. A coach of a qualified team is encouraged to nominate players from his own team based on the following criteria:

2. Player must play on a varsity team. If a program has two teams they must play for the top varsity team for a program.

3. This award is for varsity players and should be at least 15 years old on September 1, 2009. If a player is nominated for an All American Award they are not eligible to play in 14U.  Player is limited to 4 All American Award Nomination for their career.

4. Each team may nominate two players. Additional nominations will be granted to teams that are top teams in their region.

We are very excited you have chosen to attend your NCHBC Regional Championship. We understand that one of the main reasons teams attend the Regional Tournament is to get exposure for their athletes. This letter is designed to help prepare you for getting this done and understanding what to expect at your Regional Tournament. 

Step #1 Nomination Deadline:

Each coach needs to nominate their players 10 days before the first day of their Regional Tournament.

Step #2 Nomination Guidelines:

When nominating players nominate in the order you want to appear on the ballot. This is very important. Each coach is able to nominate 2 players for the All-American Ballot. However if you are seeded #1 or #2 you may nominate 3 additional players (total of 5), If you are seeded #3, #4, or #5 you may nominate 2 additional players (total of 4), If you are seeded #6 or #7 you may nominate 1 additional player (total of 3).

If you nominate before you know your seed please nominate up to 5 players and we will adjust the ballot based on your seed. Please remember to nominate your players in order.

Example: If you nominate 5 players and are the #6 seed we will drop the bottom two players off the final All-American Ballot.
