Today's championship game is between SATCH Mavericks (#1 seed-my rank) and HCYA Warriors (#2 seed-my rank). These two teams have played very well this week. Both of them play a good controlled game with excellent defense. They have obvioiusy played a few times so no surprises today.
warriors open on 2-3 zone with Mavericks in 3-2 zone. Turnovers on first possession by warriors lead to 2 by mavericks. warriors being patient. to leads to 2 ny mavericks warriors counter with 3 of their own. 6-3 mavericks steal then drive by m for 8-3 lead
another 3 by #3 brings it to 8-6
warriors drill another 3 for 9-8 lead then mavericks hit for 11-9 lead
good play by both teams warriors put back 2 fot 11-11 score as the quarter ends
great action good rebounding and timely shooting - both teams working the ball well juset what you want to see between two top teams
good balll movement for SATCH but miss 3 then Warriors work it low for 2 and the lead 13-11
interesting play ball goingoutof bound after maverick steal hits headof player taks perfect bounce for lay up 13-13 - some days everything ok
teams trade 3's 16-16 then another 3 for mavericks warriors down and match it form corner

mavericks drive for 2 to take short lead of 21-19 - 200 left
sure enough warriors work ball then boom 3 for 22-21 lead.

steal then miss by mavericks steal again followed by block opn drive
half time still 22-21 warriors.
mavericks doing great job opn defense - creating pressure getting steals, but having trouble getting shots to drop
mavericks are playing very patiently and getting more second chance possesions
The middle has been tough at both ends so 3's have been equallyimportant to both theams
for title game could not ask for more balanced half - question is who will be able to make the first run and can ther other team weather it a counter wi thrie own run. live with the 3 and it is great when it is giong in, but can both contnue at the same accuracy rate

nice 3 mavs cuts lead to 27-24 wild play then good board for mavs who then drain 3 to tie game at 27

they now lead 31-27 mavs counter with 2 down low 31-29
