R U Enjoying Yourself -if not lets work on it

I am having a great time - my home team laid an egg first game but that is basketball, happens to the best of them.   I know we come to follow our local teams. but I also think we are all basketball fans.  There are some great ball games being played.  When your game is finished, I encourage you to pick a game or a team other than your own and show up just to enjoy the sport no strings attached.

Last night I got to see the last quarter of the Derby Invasion Lakeshore Thunder game.  It was very close and Lakeshore went on a run then held off the furious pressure applied by the Invasion.  Lakeshore made threes, hit free throws, kept their heads in the game and won by nine points, no way an indication of the competitiveness of the game .  Great Fun.

Tonight I thought the SWMO Eagles and St. Johns Warriors would be a good game.  When I walked in the door the fourth quarter was just starting with the Eagles leading 48-46.  What a barnburner!  It was a fantastic fourth quarter to watch.  It was certainly worth the price of admission - did I say FREE.   Both teams gave their all and with 5.9 seconds left The Eagles had an open  man under the bucket to tie and threw the ball away.  St Johns knocked down two free throws for a four point win.  Basketball at it's best from a fan standpoint.

Each night I will highlight a few matchups worth checking out .  For one week, get out of the routine and enjoy the finest homeschool ball in the land.

My oldest daughter was 12 years old when we started home schooling.  The first Indiana home school convention had everything they could find and it fit on two eight foot folding tables.  We were asked what will you do for so many things and had no answers.  She is 36 now and I can't believe where we are today.  It is a compliment to the nation of homeschooling parents that we can have what we have.  Sports was a big question then, no longer as the answers are speaking for themselves.  Have a great time watching them make history.
