If you were not at the G14 6A Final Four game at Court #20 this afternoon, you just misssed out.
It was everything this sport is about:
Two teams Knoxville Ambassadors and OKC Storm put on quite a show.
- the teams played their hearts out
- the coaches did their very best
- the fans were ROWDY for both sides
- each team made pressure packed plays
- controversial officials calls or no calls
- intense action
- good sportsmanship
- end of game 32-32
- end of first over time 36-36 with made shot at 3.5 sec
- end of second overtime with 3-point miss score left tied at 40-40
- game ending with breakaway basket followed by 3-point miss to seal 46-43 win for OKC Storm
BOTH TEAMS were the victors here for a job well done. The old "Wide World of Sports" opening - The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat - is so very true, but the teams -coaches- and parents can be proud of the effort put forth today that entertained many of us with no ties to eirther team. GREAT GAME young ladies!!!!
AND IT DOESN"T END THERE
In the very next game, SATCH and Elkhart County Hawks went for two overtimes with SATCH winning.
Thanks to all four teams, those who saw both games were privileged to exciting basketball at it's finest. GREAT JOB!!!!!!
